All-Star Bracket Challenge

UGA won the national championship at the All-Star Bracket Challenge. The team included third-year students Kaylah Holmes (left), Eric Narbo (second from right) and Maya Davis and second-year student Ryan Parimi (second from left). Narbo was selected as the best advocate. Alumni Jonathan (J.D.’16) and Whitney (J.D.’15) Stuart served as coaches. This quartet also captured an AAJ National Student Trial Advocacy Competition regional trophy.
South Texas Mock Trial Challenge

Second-year students Olivia Haas (left), Daniel Lanclos and Eric Gulbranson (right), along with third-year student Dresden Day, brought home the top trophy at the South Texas Mock Trial Challenge. The team won the outstanding brief award in addition to several individual honors. Gulbranson was named outstanding advocate in the preliminary rounds and best advocate in the final round, while Day won most professional and outstanding advocate honors in the preliminary rounds. Director of Trial Advocacy Jeremy Dailey (J.D.’14) and 2012 alumnus Andrei Ionescu coached the team. This marks the fifth time that UGA has won this competition.
Claude Pepper Elder Law Competition

Third-year students Dustin Batchelor (left) and Kero Gadelrab were named national champions at the annual Claude Pepper Elder Law National Moot Court Competition. Coached by Adjunct Professor Cole Harper (J.D.’22), the team went undefeated throughout the tournament.
